India’s first private commercial rocket launch is being prepared for release, by Skyroot Aerospace, a Hyderabad based space technology company. Former ISRO engineers have created Skyroot and its Vikram-1 rocket. The goal of this rocket is to create a new model for affordable, reliable, private launches into orbit as well as reach out globally, thus creating a new chapter in India’s pursuit of innovation in space technology.
