Indian space company Agnikul Cosmos has produced the world’s biggest single-piece 3D-printed rocket engine with Inconel, a heat-resistant metal. The engine measures roughly one metre and minimizes risks with fewer parts and welds. Agnikul has also been granted a U.S. patent for this groundbreaking design, which is a huge leap for India’s private space industry and an indication of how startups can be at the forefront of cutting-edge rocket technology.
