The Woman Behind the Brand
Most great concepts tend to start in the most mundane places. For Kaushalya Chaudhary, a Rajasthan woman, it began in her village kitchen. In 2017, she purchased her first smartphone for ₹7,500, purely to shoot cooking videos. She initially used to upload recipes in Hindi too, but after she began uploading in her native Marwari language, her channel went boom and gained 1 lakh subscribers within a month. Her channel now has over 1.6 million subscribers and 280+ million views with nearly 1 million Instagram followers.
What was previously a rooftop cooking station has now become a brand: Sidhi Marwadi, launched in March 2024.
What Makes Sidhi Marwadi Different?
Sidhi Marwadi stands out from most packaged food brands by taking pride in natural ingredients, no preservatives, and ancient Rajasthani recipes. The brand celebrates food that was previously made by grandmothers from hand-ground spices, sun-dried techniques, and a flavor that tastes like coming home.
From masalas and pickles to ready-to-eat foods, every item bears the badge of authenticity. People are aware that when they buy Sidhi Marwadi, they’re buying purity and trust.

From Local Flavors to Nationwide Recognition
Sidhi Marwadi has 20 stores in India within a year of operating. And there’s more to follow; the team is getting ready to launch 25+ new stores by Diwali 2025 with a whopping target of reaching 100 stores by FY 2025-26 on a women-led franchisee model.
This rapid growth is not just an indication of high demand, but also of the rising wave of clean-label consumption in India. People love food that tastes great and does not have bad chemicals, and Sidhi Marwadi has picked up and has focused on that demand perfectly.
Building Businesses, Building Confidence
Aside from food, Sidhi Marwadi is about empowerment. Kaushalya has already employed 35+ rural women in production and operations, earning them a steady income and self-respect. Her model empowers village women, who were otherwise confined to household work, to become contributive family members and citizens.
This commitment to empowering women in the business startup process has made Kaushalya’s story extraordinary. She is not just selling food; she is creating a chain of rural women’s financial independence.

The Road Ahead
As India increasingly develops an appetite for clean-label and organic products, the journey of Sidhi Marwadi is only growing stronger. Kaushalya aspires to turn it into a name known in every household, not only in Rajasthan but also in India and eventually in international markets.
A Tale of Authenticity and Courage
Kaushalya Chaudhary’s Sidhi Marwadi is not merely a startup. It is a proof that honesty sells, and that customs, when carried with devotion, can become thriving businesses.
