In the world of online food delivery, people want their food fresh, fast, and reliable. That is where Bengaluru’s rapid food delivery startup ‘Swish’ comes to play. Swish was founded by Aniket Shah, Ujjwal Sukheja, and Saran S in 2024. The startup revolutionized food service by delivering freshly prepared meals in just 10 minutes. They have built their own network of cloud kitchens and delivery systems. Owing to this, they are changing what India infers about convenient dining.
“Making food delivery delightful—This is the goal Ujjwal, Saran, and I have set for ourselves at Swish said Aniket, the founder and CEO of Swish

The Idea Behind 600-Second Meals
When Swish was launched in 2024, the founders knew that the ultra-fast delivery alone wouldn’t be enough to impress the customers. Many food delivery services work on fast delivery but compromise on the temperature, freshness, or quality of the food. Swish worked in a way where quality and speed go hand in hand. Their “delight centres”—small, strategically placed kitchens are located near key customer hubs. This ensures the food leaves the kitchen and arrives at the customer’s door within minutes.
“We control every aspect of the process — from food preparation to packaging to delivery — via what we call ‘delight centers’,” said Aniket. The hyperlocal focus ensures that food is always hot, fresh, and hygienic when it reaches our customers, enabling us to meet our 10-minute promise,” he added.
Owning the Whole Process
Unlike traditional delivery apps, Swish operates on a full-stack model. They do not rely on partner restaurants. Cooking, packaging, and delivery are handled by themselves. This means they control every step of the process — what ingredients are used, how the food is prepared, how it’s packed, and how it’s transported. This yields consistent quality and hygiene. In outsourced models, this can be challenging to maintain.

Hyperlocal Kitchens for Maximum Efficiency
Swish doesn’t operate in large restaurants. They own compact, high-efficiency spaces designed for quick preparation. Each “delight centre” serves a limited delivery radius, which reduces travel time and keeps food hot when it reaches the customer. Provided that Swish is located close to residential areas. This allows them to cut down delivery time without having to rely on massive driver fleets.
Powered by Technology
Swish works on an in-house technology that prioritizes orders, manages cooking workflows, and tracks delivery in real-time. Their system predicts demand patterns so kitchens can prepare popular items in advance and avoid overproducing. This approach means faster food preparation and less wastage—a win-win situation for the customer and the environment.

Standing Out in the Quick-Commerce Race
Swish entered the competitive race that already has big players like Blinkit Bistro, Swiggy’s Bolt, and Zepto Café experimenting with hot food delivery. The difference? Swish started small. They focus on perfecting operations in select Bengaluru neighborhoods before considering expansion. With this focus, they were able to give customers reliability rather than entering new markets unprepared.
The Future of Fast Dining
In LinkedIn, one of the customers posted:
“So, What Makes Swish So Awesome?
- 10-minute delivery, seriously, it’s faster than I can scroll through my email!
- Serving HSR Layout, with a special focus on us busy folks in the startup scene.
- Exclusive deals for Growethschool and other local companies—because who doesn’t love a good deal?
- A referral system so good, it’s practically a currency of its own around here.”
Swish represents a new phase in India’s food delivery market. The one where customers expect both speed and quality without compromise. With control over all the operations and the hyperlocal kitchens, Swish is showing that fast food doesn’t have to mean unhealthy or poorly made. As they expand, they may be able to set the national standard for fast eating if they can continue to uphold their standards.

By March 2025, Swish plans to scale from a handful of centres to 150 Delight Centres across Bengaluru, with ambitions to expand into Tier‑1 cities nationwide.
